denmark is literally bottom of 56 nations for family reunion, and only stole last place from the uk because they took our primary purpose rule and turned it on refugees. if we're talking *immigration rules* specifically, then denmark is doing a sterling job of right wing drift

KORREKTUR: Der MIPEX, auf den wir uns beim internationalen Vergleich der Einbürgerungsvoraussetzungen beziehen, wurde vor wenigen Tagen aktualisiert. Und es gibt mittlerweile EU-weit ein einziges Land, in dem es noch schwerer ist, sich einbürgern zu lassen, als in Österreich - nämlich Bulgarien. 1/2

i must admit i didn't know norway's MIPEX score, but the 2020 findings has it quite a bit better than the UK www.mipex.eu/norway when the chart is revised, the UK will almost certainly take denmark's bottom place back if they keep the MIR at 28k alongside current refugee reunion policies

for family reunion though, the US is (currently) much better than the UK for family reunion, which is almost certain to take back bottom place from denmark in MIPEX ranking if the MIR stays at its current level (even worse with the 10 year to ILR changes) 3/3
