El MIRPS, un acuerdo regional que agrupa a Belice, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México y Panamá, ha impulsado la puesta en marcha de los primeros proyectos financiados con fondos provenientes de España, beneficiando a más de 24.000 personas desplazadas en Centroamérica y México. Esta acción, implementada en 2025, forma parte del compromiso por atender una crisis que afecta a más de 1,7 millones de personas forzadas a dejar sus hogares en la región.
