Soon after moving to Houston, my family and I got a behind the scenes tour at NASA’s JSC. The best part, not allowed today, was being in MOCR 2, used for most Gemini and Apollo flights, including Apollo 11. I’ve since presided at the funerals of a few people who worked on the Apollo program.

whether by luck or instruction, you do not see the default windows key that i know is hidden beneath areas her hands cover. anyway if someone can identify the model (assuming it’s stock) when she’s in MOCR 13 min into s01e06 i will acquire and review The Margo Madison “Terminal” Keyboard

This is FIDO's console, Flight Dynamics Officer, a flight controller in the MOCR control room. He can send only two commands to the spacecraft, but these are important ones: Abort A and Abort B. That's the switch with the red square on the bottom right, on Panel 16.

At ANC 6B's recent meeting on May 13, the MOCR (Mayor's rep) said that part of the stadium deal included a guaranteed expansion of the streetcar to Benning Road metro station and probably wmata infill station at Oklahoma Ave. I've not seen this spelled out so explicitly elsewhere though, is it true?

Wow. An amazing project. Hours of film on YouTube - literal live shots from MOCR-2! Full audio transcripts! By the way MOCR-2 has been fully restored in Houston to exactly what it was like for Apollo 11 and is well worth the visit if you're into Apollo era NASA.
