Further, having grown up Reform with many Conservative friends whose shuls I attended, and now belonging to a Modern Orthodox shul, I find plenty of ways in which the Reform-Conservative vs. MoDox divide is greater than Reform vs. Conservative-MoDox, esp. in the last 20 years or so.

Then it’s not really MoDox in the conventional sense of the term, which doesn’t mean that there aren’t MoDox shuls that do that. There is one in my neighborhood.

And it's specifically a well-funded faction of theologically liberal and moderate political conservatives—the mass base of Jewish conservatives are religious conservatives (Haredi or Modox), but they are largely not the people in charge of the institutions.

If I had to guess I would say there’s maybe 30% of American Jews — mostly older, more conservative, and/or ModOx — who are diehard “Israel right or wrongniks,” a smaller contingent (15-20%?) of mostly younger, lefty, unaffiliated Jewish anti-Zionists, and then the rest way more muddled.

Yea, my sense is that modox has harder lines on a lot of gender stuff especially and reform has drifted far enough away from classical reform that the line between left conservative and right reform is blurry
