The problem is that they aren't bikes. They are motorcycles. And should be regulated as such.
Motorcycles are perfectly fine, and electric motorcycles are even better, way cleaner and quieter than say a Harley. But they don't belong on sidewalks or bike lanes any more than a Harley does.

It's not hard to notice the difference between e-MOTORCYCLES and e-BICYCLES.
E-motorcycles are better than gas, and cars, BUT are too big, too fast, too heavy, to be mixed with bicycles.
