新しい技術やハードウェアに疎いので、自宅では、FreeBSD に mpd5 で隼なフレッツ経由の PPPoE を2つつないでIPv4/29とIPv6/48 (いずれも固定アドレス) を使ってる。IPoE にも変更できそうだけど変更すると、IPv6/56 になるのでうれしくない。

FreeBSD als IPsec/L2TP-Client für Microsoft Windows Routing und RAS VPN
Einen FreeBSD-Desktop an einen Microsoft Windows Routing und RAS VPN-Server anbinden, per IPsec/L2TP. Klingt nach Qual, ist aber erstaunlich einfach. Ich nutze strongSwan für den IPsec-Tunnel und mpd5 für L2TP. ### Ausgangslage Der FreeBSD-Desktop hat die IP 192.168.10.57. Der Windows RRAS-Server steht unter vpnserver.domain.tld (88.88.88.88). Tunneltyp ist IPsec/L2TP mit Pre-Shared Key für IPsec und Active Directory-Anmeldung über L2TP. Deshalb die manuellen Routen mit `set iface route`. Die DNS-Server werden per IPCP abgefragt und an die Up/Down-Scripte übergeben. Da ich die DNS-Konfiguration kenne, kopiere ich in den Scripten einfach die passende `/etc/resolv.conf`. Ich starte IPsec und dann mpd5 von Hand, wenn ich die Verbindung brauche. A New Type of MPd5 Kagome Superconductors
Kagome materials, which are composed of hexagons tiled with a shared triangle, have inspired enormous interest due to their unique structures and rich physical properties, but exploring superconducting material systems with new kagome structures is still an important research direction. Here, we predict a new type of kagome superconductors, MPd5 (M is a group IIA metal element), and identify that they exhibit coexistence of superconductivity and non-trivial topological properties. We uncover their phonon-mediated superconductivity by the density functional theory for superconductors (SCDFT), predicting the superconducting transition temperatures (Tc) of 2.64, 2.03, and 1.50 K for CaPd5, SrPd5, and BaPd5, respectively, which can be effectively tuned by external pressure and electron doping. The present results also demonstrate that MPd5 have various topological properties such as, CaPd5 shows topological non-trivial intersection near the Fermi level (EF). Our results indicate that the MPd5 materials can be an emerging material platform with rich exotic physics in their kagome structures, and render themselves excellent candidates for superconducting and advanced functional materials that could be utilized in topological quantum computing and information technology.

Dial-up (with PSTN modem) on 14.2 with MPD5 - doesn't work with windows or even other BSD as a client.
Hi there, I know this may be a bit unusual these days, but I'm trying to create a dial-in server on my FreeBSD box with 14.2 and MPD5 (version 5.9). It's working just fine when I use mgetty and ppp - including NAT etc. My next goal is to play with multilink-PPP (something I never had a chance to do during modem era), and for that I need MPD5. Now, I tried dialing into BSD from Windows XP, from Linux and from another FreeBSD (with MPD) to get additional debugging info, but it fails during LCP without any clear error. Dial-up (with PSTN modem) on 14.2 with MPD5 - doesn't work with windows or even other BSD as a client.
Hi there, I know this may be a bit unusual these days, but I'm trying to create a dial-in server on my FreeBSD box with 14.2 and MPD5 (version 5.9). It's working just fine when I use mgetty and ppp - including NAT etc. My next goal is to play with multilink-PPP (something I never had a chance to do during modem era), and for that I need MPD5. Now, I tried dialing into BSD from Windows XP, from Linux and from another FreeBSD (with MPD) to get additional debugging info, but it fails during LCP without any clear error.
