second nature
steel boned bodice
a comfort to my spine
part of the time travel

what could be

every day
it creeps from the back of my mind
dark clouds obscure
doubts & fears solidified
slimy cold tentacles
Despair by name

I must spark anew
a flaming sword hope
to fight it back again
until it reforms
to attack once more

my body

always a long cloak
