#MSEG
Yamaha will unquestionably take this to the CAS. MSEG will lose that fight too.

I heard Pramac are included in the withdrawal. This is step 1 of the Factories with 'some balls' and concern for their people finally resisting #Liberty #MSEG
I genuinely hope the others do the same. #MSEG is calling a huge threat/bluff here. I hope the teams and riders hold 4 aces and break them.
November 1, 2026 at 10:38 AM
And of course, all the big wigs of MSEG will be there

Won’t they?

(No, no they won’t)

This is not going to end well for MSEG, we've seen in the past the importance of the manufacturers for the show and how that changed F1.
All this is not good to attract other brands or even keeping those already in.

MSEG vs. Yamaha in court would be the most entertaining thing about the whole 2026 season.

Yamaha for the 'Nobel Peace Prize'
#Liberty #MSEG can stick it up their arse.
Finally we have some semblence of a Factory participent with the testicular fortitude to stand up to the 'Plantation owner'.

This is the direction MSEG are heading, the people/crowd/emotions trump the racing 🤦‍♀️
November 1, 2026 at 4:43 AM
The riders should demand all mseg, Dorna etc people attend with all their families before going.

This is so so stupid.
October 31, 2026 at 12:46 PM
Thanks Simon. MSEG is at risk of being considered as just another US thug on the world stage.

Hear hear for JM43👏
November 2, 2026 at 3:15 AM
Best case scenario - MSEG get away with it, everyone stays safe, the mathematical title fight carries on to Portimao, they get their Qatari money, and this race is remembered as a farce…if it is remembered at all.

Worst case scenario, on the other hand…
November 1, 2026 at 3:12 PM
Force majeure is interesting and post Covid, in contracts, what FM consists of has been made more explicit, claiming it unilaterally in an event with other parties can be difficult. Qatar absolutely shouldn't happen, and it looks like MSEG have underestimated the reputational damage going causes.
November 1, 2026 at 11:28 AM
Incredible!

Theoretically, this means we could get a race with only, say, the top ten title contenders.

Feels like MSEG saying "Eh, you guys risk your lives here all the time. What's one more risk?", ignoring all the non-riders that are affected.
October 31, 2026 at 3:44 PM
Right there with you, Lance.

This year is my first following all of MotoGP, and what I’ve seen from Liberty/MSEG doesn’t seem to be doing the sport any favors (understatement of the year)
November 1, 2026 at 10:58 PM
He who pays the piper… What a complete cluster. Given the foreign office (or equivalent) travel advisories for the nationalities of the riders and crew, how dare MSEG ‘advise’ the people who are essential to the sport that they (or more accurately their money) know best. Sportswashing at its worst.
November 2, 2026 at 12:32 AM
These young dickheads don't understand what they are stepping into here. They are holding their arms out for the #Liberty #MSEG handcuffs to be freely applied.
F*k me, havn't they seen the threats being thrown at the #MotoGP riders already?
November 1, 2026 at 11:29 AM
Nacho, do you believe these guys will really go to Qatar?
There is a US military airfeild just outside the circuit fence.
#MSEG need to forget their $$$ and protect their people first. The Saudis' removed their jets and people already 😬

I have been following this sport since the mid 90s. This weekend's race will be the first I have chosen not to watch in all of those years if it goes ahead; the behaviour of DORNA/MSEG has been abhorrent.

If shit really happens and the riders/Factories show enough balls to tell #Liberty #MSEG #FIM to get F*kd, they will win.
All points scored previously in the season are legitimate. They CANNOT be taken away. If the season ends today the results stand.
Noone wants it to end this way, but . . . ?
November 1, 2026 at 11:43 AM
Yamaha ain't in the game this year, correct. But seeing the #Liberty #MSEG attitude already, they have exposed themselves to rear of the grid starts for the next 20 years.
DO NOT underestimate where these bastards will go with their extortionate lack of principles
November 1, 2026 at 12:01 PM
This is wrong on every level. The plantation owners say jump and the slaves must all jump. Higher and higher, to satisfy their 'Masters'.
If shit happens in Qatar, and some of the riders, teams, families, Journalists, come home in coffins, it is too late to repair?
MSEG will have their arse sued.

El microondas integrable Teka MSEG 620 SS con Grill (20 L) cuenta con un descuento del 42%. Su precio actual es de 148,95 €, lo que supone un ahorro de 106,05 € sobre el precio anterior de 255,00 €.
November 4, 2026 at 8:24 AM
The most important difference here is, the concerned riders could leave Qatar DEAD. They need to stick together on this one. If MSEG is willing to threaten them, they should all sit out the rest of the season and hold MSEG to ransom. They will NEVER be threatened again. EVER 💪

There's an interesting analysis of what's at stake for MSEG and Liberty in the currently most recent comment on this story, from one of the two commenters named Jon.
October 31, 2026 at 3:53 PM
Matteo Aglio informing of a new meeting between riders even MSEG having said Qatar it's a go.
This meet was without any Team Manager or other representatives.
Riders not willing to let it go.
