If Windows .. Run MSINFO32 and look under "Components" and then find Adapter RAM ... That should be the actual physical RAM on the video adapter.

I agree with the other comment, the 7700 or 7800x3d would work great and are pretty budget friendly (relatively speaking)
I'd recommend using msinfo32 (type into start menu for system information), then punching your parts into pcpartpicker.com ,there you can swap the parts with compatible ones

Sólo se deja instalar la versión de w10 v.1709. La instala sin problemas. Si no, busca tu modelo, la última versión que instaló HP para tu equipo. Una vez instalado: WIN+R y msinfo32. Ahí te sale tu modelo. Lo pegas en web HP y te ofrece drivers y tool para actualizar BIOS.

yep! they replied pretty fast asking for a photo of the laptop showing its specs, sent over the msinfo32 page (shows laptop model, specs, OS etc..) but they’ve not replied since lol. hoping they actually have the actual laptop it’s meant to be

If you run msinfo32 there should be a line reading "Secure Boot State" that will tell you if it's on or off, but again, no way to actually change it without doing it through the BIOS :(

It's an i7-3770k (3.4Ghz) on a Pegatron 2AD5 (according to msinfo32) To be honest I'm not looking for a major jump in performance or anything... but this was something I bought to prepare for Half-Life 2 😁 so I think a modest update wouldn't hurt. Definitely not planning to go too nuts.
