Even though I've turned this "feature" off, this ghostly prompt shows up every time I start a new document in MSWord and each time if fills me afresh with anger that, if my mood is wrong, edges towards rage. If I smash my computer display seeing someday, I blame @microsoft.com CEO Satya Nadella.

new laptop, gonna try what I been meaning to try for forever: no MSWord. even though that's the standard/default in publishing. but, Pages can open all doc/docx stuff. and it can export back to it. so, fingers crossed. will be such a relief not to have be/do MS anymore (it's why the new laptop)-->

I don't know. I've never used Final Draft for comics. I stuck with WordPerfect from v 4.0 on, and then wandered over to LibreOffice after a sad stint on MSword.

Hear, hear. I know I kept my old floppy discs of Photoshop and MSWord for DOS just have to find them. Run with a DOS emulator like I do for the old D&D games.
