I had an idea of macc in my head but in reality ive realised macc is a quiet, *almost* non-verbal puppy whos just happy to be in a room of amazing people & feel welcome. Like a dog at the party people flock to pet

I may have cried writing this. This boy came to MACC at just 2 months old. We all watched him grow up into the goofy boy he is. We watched him be hopeful everyday while he saw countless friends get adopted.

This is probably the craziest stray call I’ve ever seen in 13 years of volunteering at MACC.
I’m happy to report she was at MACC a very short time before her family was found. She is now safe at home.

Playgroup is always a highlight at MACC! It’s not just a great way for the dogs to burn off energy, it’s also a chance for them to socialize and build confidence. The volunteers enjoy it just as much as the pups do!

With city expenses going up faster than property taxes are growing, every budget year coming up is going to be a tough budget year. I don’t think we should make that problem _worse_ by locking away 2% of the budget to be given out by committee that made of people who weren’t elected.
