the last time I sat for a tattoo was the day after Thanksgiving 2023. I had ended Thanksgiving night at MagBar so I probably don’t need to tell you that I was absolutely fighting for my life in that chair for 3 1/2 hours. today was like a walk in the park lol

A group of guys from out of town have wandered to nach on the recommendation of folks at Magbar and are so excited to have accidentally stumbled upon Bash at the Bar.

One thing I do miss about FB is knowing when the Magbar gets Magbarred
Wild how we have a business that gets hit by cars so often that if you say something got Magbarred people know what you mean, and they get denied bollards to protect their business and customers
In the US we use bollards to protect what is important and valued (hint, it's not people walking or using bikes)

Oh yeah! We've got our own less-well-known version, to be "can-opener'ed," for an underpass near the University of Louisville
To get "magbar'ed" is to have your building run into by a car, which happens to the magbar (a dive bar in Old Louisville, I used to underage-drink there) 3 or 4 times a year

Also, no lie, when he was running for Senate against McConnell I had the chance to magbar Bevin and thought better of it. Hate to say it now but I could've taken one for the team.

PH has been gone for a few years now and Back Door at Baxter Ave just closed early this year or late last year. Good ol MagBar is still going downtown though.
