If this had Pestigors instead of those Pox-Wretches I'd be extremely tempted. Not even for playing but just for painting. Love all the other sculpts in here!

The six Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battleforce boxes for the holiday season just got revealed.
That Maggotkin of Nurgle box is calling to me in ways I cannot describe without speaking through the mouth of a Spoilpox Scrivener.
And the Stormcast too.

The Maggotkin is definitely the best box of the lot. It's perfect for a starter, and perfect for adding to one already starting (points to myself).

I dunno what this guy’s name is.
But I enjoyed painting up Big Arm Nurgle Man. Might do some other Darkwater stuff, not sure yet.

Got my 5yr old daughter to play #ageofsigmar with me today. She used SCE and I had maggotkin. Of course she had Krondys to help. So you can imagine how that went?
Badly. It went badly for the Maggotkin. Lord of Plagues got eaten by Krondys 😂

A little rot, a lot of character. This Lord of Plagues is my latest addition to the Maggotkin of Nurgle army.

Faced off against the Maggotkin of @lnessmon.bsky.social tonight on the Bloodstained Coasts. A key Cavalier Charge in turn 2 to take them out of combat with the Rotswords helped swing the game in my favour and led Settler's GainDe to victory 48 to 41! #WarhammerCommunity #AgeOfSigmar

So my Warhammer armies:
- Stormcast Eternals
- Adepta Sororitas (hobby army because goodness they take a long time to paint)
- Death Guard
I think that's a solid grouping. May also look at Maggotkin of Nurgle in AoS for some of the overlap with Death Guard?

I worked on the list over the last months with the Nurgle player in our 1st team. We arrived at 3 blocks of 20 + Rotigus for an army that can't lose by high margins
Drones were a late addition but worked out great
In my games I went 4-1, which I am quite proud of but I had great pairings every round

It’s a struggle. I am gonna try and brave finishing the Rotswords I started but then shelve the other Maggotkin as I just wanna do some quick & dirty Death Guard as a palette cleanser so I don’t burn out on details

Not sure what I’d change if I painted more but the Rotswords weren’t fun to build so ehn. My Maggotkin are mainly for me to try out AoS, so I’m not gonna bust a gut to expand them

Flicking through PDFs of old White Dwarf issues looking for reference to tart up my Maggotkin and my god the nostalgia and the insanity of creativity back then. Not finding too many colour pages with Nurgle imagery on them, tho 😞

After the fun of the races, back into matched play tonight against @lnessmon.bsky.social's Maggotkin and playing Hidden Under Ash-Clouds. I managed to get an early upper hand, but the clouds lingered making it hard to do much - losing 45 to 46! Not the best scenario #AgeOfSigmar #WarhammerCommunity
