Time to switch out if you haven’t (I’ve had an account since 2004 and this is a bridge too far for me). Alternatives with more security:

- Proton
- Fastmail
- iCloud
- StartMail
- Tuta
- Mailfence

Most of these are European, which is your best bet for keeping communication safe and tracking-free.

Stop using Google in every way possible. Google search engine (DuckDuckGo, Vivaldi, I don’t recommend Ecosia because they have given in to AI but it’s still much better than Google), Google Maps (HERE WeGo), Gmail (Proton Mail, Mailfence), Google Docs (CryptPad).
