The image features James Marsters at the Grand Slam SciFi Summit convention in 2013. He is captured mid-speech, holding a microphone in his right hand, while his left hand is raised, performing the Vulcan salute, a gesture recognized from the "Star Trek" series. Marsters is wearing a fitted black shirt, and his expression appears engaged and enthusiastic. The background consists of dark drapes, with subtle blue lighting that contrasts with the black, adding a dramatic effect to the scene. His short, styled hair is slightly damp, reflecting the lighting from the audience.
