Day 24/365 Printing on Vintage Hardware. 2011 Makergear Mosaic up and printing a Voron Cube!

Revisiting of one of my favorites. New photo of a print from 2019. I printed this "Ellipses Vase" on my MakerGear M3-ID in 50 hours! I have plans for my Prusa XL on the horizon. Stay tuned!

Day 37/365 Printing on Vintage Hardware. MakerGear has blessed us with new old stock parts!

I've had both filament and resin printers... the filament printer was a pain due to clogs and firmware issues (PETG on makergear M3) the resin printer was awesomely high resolution but I had problems with warping parts after printing. Gave both away to more motivated people. Still shopping though,

Countdown to @3dprintopia.bsky.social Day 19. I am currently on a plane flying back with this Makergear M2 Rev A that has had a 24v, Rambo 1.3 & Dual Extruder Upgrade in its lifetime. I have to imagine it's the last printer I acquire before the event so group photos, booth info is next up.

Mine was not that long ago. First color swap on my first printer though. Is that a Makergear M2 bed I'm seeing? We just added one to the collection and will be at 3D Printopia. Looks like I may have quite the artifact coming in this week though.

Bummer. Jessie PLA is terrific. Although, there are some European colors it would be nice to get here more easily. It's a nice purple! I actually think my MakerGear purple is a closer match (slightly more blue), but I probably have about the last spool in the world for that.

Countdown to @3dprintopia.bsky.social Day 13. This Makergear M2 is quite a bit newer than the original 2012 version. But its a fun one for people who have never seen a bed slinger that raises on Z. I moved this printer during an office move last year but later got it during the decommission

I've seen a metal plate in some people's builds. I asked Rick who founded MakerGear about it and he didn't have any real recollection of what the deal was. It's not going to make it that much thicker. Just need to use smaller clips, etc.

Day 10/365 Printing on Vintage Hardware. 2012+ Makergear M2. The Rev A.1 might have a dead driver so printing on the 2019 Rev H. Also have a 2013 Rev B.3/4 hiding.
