Malevir, Demigod of the Crimson Moon, and leader of the Umbral Sanctum.

I'll probably make a seperate post about him in more detail, but he has some relation to Grayson
Malevir is the main villain of the story and the archenemy of Grayson. Since his childhood, Grayson has had a deep fear of the Crimson Moon but couldn't remember exactly why.

A sketch of Father Malevir. I imagined the scene in the Grand Cathedral.

Some lore stuff in the alt text.
A sketch of Malevir standing with his arms and wings outstretched, basking in the light that pools in from the massive stained glass windows. His gaze is towards something; perhaps an altar of sorts. Malevir is the Primark of Yhervum, the land located northeast of Lodius. The capital contains the Grand Cathedral, the world's biggest cathedral. The kingdom's religion is Sancticism, with Malevir as the focus of it. Grayson and Runa were both born in Yhervum, and so Malevir wishes to reclaim what is his.

A sketch of Malevir.
A sketch of Malevir, one of Nidhogg's many children and is Lunaeous' brother. He wears large robes, enhanced with Dark Aether. His followers were originally desperate people without a place to go and abandoned by society, and so Malevir acted like a shepherd towards the lost sheep, naming himself "Father Malevir" and establishing the Umbral Sanctum. As to his true motives, that has yet to be seen. Like his father Nidhogg, he does not take kindly to betrayal, and will punish any of his flock's attempts ruthlessly.

Thinking about doing a finished art piece of Malevir

Umbral Sanctum, leader, second in commands, and others.

The Umbral Sanctum is effectively the main villainous group of Grayson's world.
Father Malevir, the head and ultimate authority of the Umbral Sanctum. The main villain of Grayson's world. Malevek and Malecastor, one of the many offspring of Malevir. They are the Magister and Cardinal of the Umbral Sanctum respectively. Malevek is the head judge and lawmaker of the cult, and Malecastor is the head administrator. There are many Magisters and Cardinals, all of which are the sons of Malevir. A group of members and creatures from the Umbral Sanctum. The Overseers and the Carnifexes are the offspring of Malevir. The former is tasked with management of the lower ranking members, while the later is tasked with the butchering and execution of those who would try leaving the cult with brutal efficiency. All members can use Dark Magic, a corrupted form of regular Magic.

Malvek doodle
A sketch of Makvek, one of the many sons of Malevir. Malvek shows genuine compassion for his brethren, and as the Sanctum Magister leads and teaches the Sanctum Acolytes and Disciples. However, he shows extreme cruelty to traitors.

A sketch of a Demon, with his mortal form next to him in comparison
A sketch of a Demon, Celestials who have fallen to darkness. They originally come from the Unseen Realm, and retain most of their power even after their fall from grace. Demons, like all Celestials, are capable of "putting on flesh", creating physical bodies for themselves. This is due to their spiritual forms being far too large to fit in the mortal universes, viewing them akin to small atoms. Malevir himself has many demons loyal to him.

Malvek doodles
A couple of sketches of Malvek, the son of Malevir. He was raised within the Umbral Sanctum his whole life, and was taught both the Dark Arts and Wyrmtongue by his father. He became an Umbral Pastor as an adult. He is known as Brother by many in the Umbral Sanctum.

Sketch of Lunaeous. Decided to touch up his design a bit to make it similar to Malevir's, as the two are twin siblings.

This is what he wears on his ambles through the royal gardens.

I'll probably make a dedicated post about the two sometime soon
A sketch of Lunaeous, the Demigod of the Azure Moon. He and Malevir are twins, which is why they look so similar.

Some doodles. I might take a break from drawing for a bit. In the meantime I'll be doing more story stuff
A sketch of Grayson and Runa fighting each other, with Malevir looming with an amused grin, as if taking enjoyment in the sight. His wings outstretched in a way that captures the two, almost as if their destinies are at the palm of his hand. A sketch of Grayson and Lunaeous getting ready for a fight.

A couple sketches, one of Plum and the other of Malvek (not to be confused with Malevir)
A sketch of Plum. Im not sure what kind of creature he is but it reminds me of a bear, dragon, and kangaroo lol (because he has a belly pouch). A sketch of Malvek, Malevir's son. I know, the names are similar, to the point where even I get confused at times. Malvek does appear in the Nightmare Realm when Grayson and his friends travel there during the Dreamlands Saga. More of a small piece of what is to come in their future.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'd say that Malevir and the Umbral Sanctum played a big role in Chester's Soul Fracture occuring

Art of mine from this year, 2025: My character Malevir, a tiefling with pale greyish-pink skintone, white horns, and dark hair pulled into a mid-high ponytail. He has facial hair, multiple piercings, gauges, and an all-around black flame neck tattoo (yes he was a BG3 Dark Urge Tav LOL). Wearing an adventuring set of mostly leather with belts across the chest and around his waist, fur over the shoulders and around the back of his neck, leather shoulder pieces and bracers, all in varying shades of muted grey-browns and blacks with silver accents

Blood Moon Knights

Had some fun drawing them
A sketch of some Blood Moon Knights, a group of skilled knights that guard the Blood Moon Castle, though some are found in other places throughout the world. They faithfully serve Malevir. The weapons they use are infused with their own divine blood, which allows for a temporary blood transfusion with each cut (akin to a poison that leaves one's system after some time). This leaves victims greatly fatigued as well as in great pain. The armor they wear is extremely heavy and durable, but through training they are able to move with surprising grace. Their great faith in their father allows them to use more advanced Blood Moon Incantations, which originate from Malevir. A sketch of a Blood Moon Knight standing with a spear in one hand and the other on his chest. A sketch of a Blood Moon Knight in flight, with his blood coated sword ready to be swung again.

I remember the start of covid being like, a peak year of growth for me and then I got burnt out like 3 years later LMAO But I think I'm getting my groove back and I feel like I've at least grown in how I'm drawing bodies and poses!

Thank you for the opportunity! I'll go ahead and tag @squishydamage.bsky.social for this too, since I'm always showing off your art to 'em!

Here's my boy Malevir; Son of a Bard and Sorcereress who he's gotten equal parts cool-headedness and mischievous from!
Half Tiefling, Half Shadar-Kai Elf Warlock with some magic lightning energy gathered in one hand Half Tiefling, Half Shadar-Kai Elf Warlock in several poses: One with a Bisexual pride flag for his cloak. Another hiding paint and pretending he just didn't do it (whatever 'it' is). Last one is when he's angry and ready to stab.

Thank you 🧡 And if you're sure! I'll drop one of my beloved D&D bois here in that case.

This is Malevir, just a cheeky treasure hunter who's the son of a Bard and Sorcerer. Only mostly mischief to see here
