Meet the Connecticuts (i love them). Clark, Gaspard and Malfina were a polycule, retired adventures who bought themselves a tavern in Baldur's Gate called Crow's Perch. Gaspard died when Connie was very young (he barely remembers him).

Malfina may be intimidating for strangers, but for her little crows she's the softest person anyone can be. As a retired adventurer she wanted for her kids to live a better and happier childhood and life than she did. Making sure her children can be whoever they want to be.
