As a huge fan of WoT I have to say no notes. Beautiful!
You should read it.

I am being completely unironic when I say this: if your worldbuilding does not account for trans people, you have bad worldbuilding.

From halfway through The Dragon Reborn: I really appreciate how Jordan doesn't just thrust his characters into trouble; he makes their *identity* the trouble. Rand has his titular trouble; Mat remembes Manetheren; Perrin has his wolves; Egwene dreams; etc. #wot

There are passages and prose so lovely that they stay with me long after I finish. The tale of Manetheren from The Eye of the World is one. When the eagles save Maedhros as Fingon cries out to Manwë, from The Silmarillion, is another.
The writing in this makes me think of both 👀

I think I may have to put this on my reading list! Have you heard Hildegard von blingin’s Weep for Manetheren, Bardcore Cover in the Old Tongue?

She is clearly a Wisdom in the region formerly claimed by Manetheren.

not me listening to "the eye of the world" audiobook while replacing the faucet in our guest bathroom & getting all teary-eyed hearing Moiraine tell the story of the people of Aemon, while humming Sing of Manetheren to myself. Must have been the faucet feed lines dripping on me. Or somethin. #wot

Tai'shar Manetheren! For The Two Rivers!
It's going to make Perrin's entire storyline and especially the army he raises into nonsense if you're presenting the Two Rivers as a village or even a small town and not as an entire region with a large though scattered population who descended from the survivors of Manetheren

This was the Two Rivers episode I've been waiting for all season. Tai'shar Manetheren. They did my favorite blacksmith proud 💛

My favorite song? Weep for Manetheren (redux), sung by the People. Perrin needed a way to rally the [non]troops, and his choice to remind them of their blood was 🤌

Rand's hand off beat while the rest of the Two Rivers (sans Nynaeve) crew sing??
Lan notices that he's not keeping rhythm??
Whaaaat

Mon récap YouTube pour cette année 2025.
Ça se voit que j'aime les OST ou pas ? 😂
The Hills of Tanchico est top 1 dans mon cœur, c'est juste la meilleure chanson de l'année, dans la meilleure scène de l'année dans une série 😁

Cry for Manetheren
