Assemblymember Grace Lee updated the Community Board on state budget negotiations, proposed bills to require visible ICE identification and to disclose private contracts with ICE, and highlighted state funding priorities including utility rebates, childcare expansion, immigrant legal services and $900 million for clean water infrastructure.

Following a public hearing and a staff recalculation, the commission adopted the 2027 budget and settled on an ad valorem revenue target consistent with a ~52.5 mill levy (projected ad valorem revenue $41,003,129); the final certification depends on county valuation.
