On a personal note, I’ve met one of the lead actors in #MannerOfDeath, Max Nattapol. He is absolutely lovely; a total sweetheart. I was in Bangkok (when I could travel before becoming sick/disabled etc), and my friend and I visited Max’s bar on my birthday. We ended up chatting with him for ages. ❤️

I need a drama book to recommend for day 16 of the Asian dramas rec challenge. Regrettably, despite so many (many!) dramas being based on books, I haven’t read any. So instead, I’ll choose a drama for which I at least *own* a copy of the book: excellent Thai murder mystery BL drama #MannerOfDeath.

For a couple of proper BLs in which the plot and action are first and foremost, try #NotMe and #MannerOfDeath. They are both crime/mysteries of a sort (one a murder and the other an almost-murder) and both contain violence and bad stuff, but that’s the plot plotting rather than toxic relationships.
