i don't know why i bounce off almost every mapgame/paradox game when i try them but anno turns me into a total sicko. maybe it's the complex and realistic cheesemaking logistics

so cool that the US is celebrating its 250th by losing a pointless, unnecessary, brutal war anyone who's ever played a mapgame for more than a few hours could tell you was not ever going to even end in a white peace

Are there any artists who are mapmakers on here? Is that a real thing? I’m guessing it would mostly be for tabletop campaigns but I have a project that needs a sick looking map and I’m looking to commission one this summer.

Surely one of the infinite map nerds who follow me for mapgame shit has someone they'd like to get in touch with the loveliest client ever?
Technically, in my niche, especially early, being "more neutral" or an ""objective historian"" would have appealed to more paradox-piled mapgame minds, sure, but I'd rather NOT have built something that necessitates me constantly dealing with "remove kebab" ""memers""

i was bestowed the golden thread that matured into mapgame addiction and then the awakened post-mapgame mindset by my lesbian aunt who needed shit to occupy her time when she was finally able to kick horse & switch to warcraft and weed

it's been fun to watch this chud gamer white house steadily tumble down the ladder of vidya prestige. We're down to "paradox mapgame" and the sweaty, high-meta ones are receding fast. I think in a few days we should be able to comfortably explain the whole thing in terms of Imperator: Rome

mapgame fans have an established thorn in their shoes around the idea that unintended behaviour loosely mirroring reality doesn't necessarily make it a good justification for the feature, and while I at times disagree with examples, I get it with "you're SUPPOSED to get weaker with age in oblivion"
