A campaign treasurer tells me the city's MapLight filing system has had technical issues since at least 11 PM last night (when they attempted to file). Seems to be a widespread and ongoing issue affecting many campaigns.

A new City Council candidate for Ward 1 has filed in MapLight - Darla Krutzig. I have not been able to find any further information on this campaign.

Would like to see more candidates having websites or SOMETHING about who they are and why they are running instead of just seeing a registration on MapLight. Especially when you’re in tech! Makes me think you’re not all that serious.
A new Ward 10 candidate has registered in MapLight, Jackson Hampton. Jackson is a Senior Data Engineer at Optum. Jackson is the second challenger to Council Vice President Aisha Chughtai.

It's a minor quibble, but if they weren't going to wait for Burnett's campaign finance report (late due to the Maplight outage) before pushing out this story, they should have noted that her number was outdated.

I did some hyperparameter tuning, however, my goal was to reduce the # of parameters.
I reduced layers, dims, etc. of MolSetRep (www.nature.com/articles/s42...) and tested it on Caco2_Wang (tdcommons.ai).
Tuning it down to 62.5k params, I ~matched chemprop's performance with MAE of 0.332 ± 0.008

Following this announcement, Ward 8 is now officially an open seat race. There are at least two candidates so far - Soren Stevenson (who lost against Jenkins by 38 votes in 2023) and Josh Bassais.
