First Farmer’s Market haul of the season. The vendor I got everything but the asparagus from gave me the lettuce for free cuz I had on my Annette hat and she knows my Chef. 🍜🍽️

This week’s #MarketReport! There is still rhubarb, good news for me! Asparagus is going strong with pretty purple joining. We also have morels! and still have ramps. Salad turnips, green garlic, and lots of starts.

Here in Seattle we’re still deep in peak harvest time. It’s true the tomatoes have slowed, but we’re still under a mountain of peppers, some corn and berries, now Brussels and winter squash added to the mix #MarketReport

Today’s #MarketReport, better late than not (like last week😅)

It was 72 in Seattle today and our market reflects the extended summer. Lots of peppers, tomatoes, corn, and massive winter squash. If roasting whole vegetables is your thing, there were big cauliflower and enormous lobster mushrooms 🦞

Today’s #MarketReport! I had to miss last week, but I’m pretty sure this is the first real week of cherries!! Rainier, Champagne Coral, and some dark cherries as well! Favas, Sugar snaps and snow peas, still a little bit of rhubarb. Peak strawberries!! The very first red raspberries too!

This week’s #MarketReport! A thing I love about farmers markets in Seattle: mine has 3 different local fisherman stands selling incredible salmon, tuna, crab and more. Ruby red rhubarb, baby daikons, and my favorite: Iceland poppies 🤩

I get 1.5 hrs a week, which I appreciate. But if I wasn't mobile with a walker, that's barely enough time to get up, dressed, wash up and make a cup of coffee.

#MarketReport day!! This is close to my favorite time of farmer’s markets where you get the end of summer produce and the beginning of the fall harvest. Finally an abundance of tomatoes and peppers! Here’s that sweet focaccia I’m obsessed with, blueberry edition. And…fresh cranberry beans!! 🤩 🌱

This week’s #MarketReport! We are really getting close to peak market time. Alllll the different berry varieties, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and apricots! Fresh out of the ground new potatoes, summer squash and corn. Some tomatoes, not much peppers really yet but I was told next week.

Guess what friends! After a 3 week hiatus, I’m finally able to share a #MarketReport! It’s definitely my favorite time of the year-Tomatoes, peppers, corn and peaches meet apples, pluots, and winter squash! And we had strawberries allllll summer!
