not only did it achieve the first powered flight of a human-designed craft on another planet, it was designed to last for 30 Earth days

So sieht der Mars-Helikopter aus. Der erste Flug auf dem Mars fand am 19. April 2021 statt und mittlerweile hat er über 17 km in bis zu 24 Metern Höhe auf dem Mars zurückgelegt, bei einer Flugzeit von etwa 128 Minuten. Der Marscopter ist ca. 50cm hoch, die Spannweite ist 1,2m das Gewicht ist 1,8 kg.

Die Trümmer stammen jedoch nicht von ET, sondern von der Landeausrüstung, mit der der Perseverance-Rover und der Helikopter auf den Mars gebracht wurden. Ich hatte diese Woche schon mal etwas über den Mars-Rover Perseverance von der NASA geschrieben. Zusammen mit ihm kam auch der Mars-Helicopter (Marscopter) auf den roten Planeten, der inzwischen über 70 Flüge absolviert hat. Dabei machte er auch Bilder dieser "außerweltlichen" Trümmer auf dem Mars.
