This year Matatirtha Aunsi was celebrated on April 27. At our Kathmandu family home, one hundred candles were lit last week to honor “Beverly Mummy.” House with Heart continues Beverly’s lifework to uplift and empower Nepali children and women in need.

Mother’s Day is a very special day at House with Heart. On Mother’s Day 2018, our brilliant and visionary founder Beverly Bronson passed away. Mother’s Day in Nepal, known as Matatirtha Aunsi, is a day-long festival where families offer sweets and other gifts to their mothers.
