Two siblings are deluded about how broken they really are. One of them learns magic, the other scores a monster, fucks shit up.

If I were to explain my current WIP badly, it's about an ageing ex-talk show host who is hosting a contest to find the chosen one who will replace her recently assassinated colleague. However, the contestants, a group of celebrity mages, are about as whiny and entitled as you'd expect.

During my PPD, I started working on a book (later abandoned) called Matriphage, inspired by matriphagy in spiders, motherhood, and the work of Bourgeois. It was sad and angry and, ultimately, not very good. This is an apology gift, of sorts.
