"What Labour principle could possibly justify taking money away from [someone] with terminal cancer or someone who has an extreme disability and can't work?"

Labour minister #MatthewPennycook repeatedly refuses to answer.

Shameful.

More u-turns, prevarication and caving into developers from Labour.

The Greens are clear. No more leaseholds. Bring in rent controls.

Vote Green on 7th May.

#SaveOurSwifts
#UKLabour is backtracking on a plan to help save birds: by blocking a new rule that would make developers put a £35 nest brick in every new home. #MatthewPennycook, step up please.
We've lost HALF our population of swifts in 20 years. We can't lose the other half.

Modern homes have nowhere for them to nest – but there's a simple, cheap solution. A hollow brick costing just £35 could save our swifts! Even developers are on board. Just one problem...

Housing minister #MatthewPennycook gave examples of grey belt sites as “disused petrol stations, abandoned car parks, but also just low-value scrub land” but Starmer is already talking about Green Field sites 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔.

If councils don’t build on green field then the Labour Party will 🤦‍♂️.
