Another #thevampirelestat BTS dump!! Again, go watch E2 “Toledo” on AMC+ before hitting this post to avoid spoilers. Some of the most enjoyable moments of being on set for me, was spending down time with the band. Truly lovely, talented, hilarious scamps who I’m stoked are getting their shine. Bunch of goofs. Miss y’all. This BTS is also a testament to the incredible tech set crew, practical effects, props, set design and set-dec crew who built such a convincing, immersive world. Brav-frickin-o!!! The sequence with Lestat and Gabriella at the Italian restaurant was my first day on set. Sam sang “La Fontaine De Sang” live over and over for each camera angle’s multiple takes, and crushed it every time...making a brother proud. Love Sam’s performance on this gorgeous tune, one of my favs from Daniel Hart (& Charles Beaudelaire). Did you catch the OP-XY mini synth Sam was playing during “Why Do I Have to Feel”? Props to props who fashioned the fitted strap. I was tasked with learning how to navigate that thing to make it light up and look pretty :) Does anyone have the IG of Sam’s stunt double btw??View all comments
