I ran a Mausritter session at a local D&D for Kids event today, with the Dutch translation by @wonderschouw.bsky.social of @losing.games's the Estate.
Session ended with the kids blowing up a snake with a barrel of gunpowder, so the future of the hobby is in good hands.

Today at Mausritter / the Baron's Grip we explored the Tomb of Chelydrine and my C57BL/6 mouse found their first magical sword...it might have cost some lives when I re-engaged the obvious swinging blades-trap but greed won. The session ended with the reveal of the big mother crab.

System Choice.
I used my own game, Mud+Laser. It's mostly a Mausritter hack, so it shouldn't be *that* unfamiliar to folks. But it also renames the ability saves and complicates notation in a way that makes statblocks look weird. That probably tanked my gameability rating.

I had a great time running It's Rough in the Rough. You got a mini-golf course with some great set pieces. I mouse town in a mini windmill. A fairy invasion. Lots of new thematic items and spells. It really shows off what makes Mausritter great.
