WIP extract book 2 of 6 SlenderWolf In With the In Crowd Chapter 28 The Second Battle of Fflint “Nothing must touch this rod on the nose panel,” warns Major Hastings, “it’s primed. Even a light touch will set it off.” “It’s a tiny charge though,” says MaxChaos, “just enough to ignite the gravitors and release them.” “Gravitors?” asks Commander Rees. “They’re not actually gravitors, not in the true sense,” continues MaxChaos, “FlashBang worked on gravitors to harness energy from gravity. They’re tiny projectiles. These ones have the same name because they look similar, but these are incendiaries. On impact with the top sail the FoxBat showers red hot explosive pellets down all the sails. Well that’s the idea!” “You should call them flashbangs then?” suggests Commander Rees. “Just use one massive one, and send it straight into the hull.” “The warhead can’t be heavy,” explains Major Hastings.
