Usually not one to screenshot dunk people but I was checking caught a conversation @malachitetiger.bsky.social was having with some dude and golly some folks here don't even try do they?
Malachite Tigerbunny: "Yes, literally the same evening he came out to them. In 2009. Cool that you're trying to insist that people with abusive parents must have done something to provoke it though." Maxyasgur: "Abusive parents are a separate topic. That's problematic for everyone. Again, I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it's not nearly as common as 20-30 years ago. I'm just saying that LGBTQ youths are more likely to have conditions that force parents to quit subsidizing their lives." I highlighted the "Again I'm not saying it doesn't happen" part then added a section titled "2 replies earlier..." that additional screenshot reads maxyasgur: "Nobody is throwing their kids out of the house for being LGBTQ. Quit propagating absurdities."

"Yasgur's Farm" by Rev. Ryan Kobold. Artist's rendering of Max Yasgur with text from his address to the audience at Woodstock: "The important thing that you've proven to the world is that... half a million young people can get together and have three days of fun and music and have nothing but fun and music. And I — God bless you for it!"

When you point out the obviously wrong part of what they said they'll either immediately pretend they didn't say that or pretend they're somehow correct because of a special rule they made up on the spot... or in this guy's case he literally does both one after the other
Screenshot showing that Maxyasgur, right after saying that no one kicks their kids out for being gay anymore despite previously saying they didn't in general, states the following: "1. And I'm correct [about gay kids never getting kicked out for being gay]. From a statistically-significant standpoint, it doesn't happen." Not included in this screenshot is Malachite Tigerbunny and Meijay bringing up how homelessness on queer youth is significantly higher than cishet youth and him failing to actually counter this + doing a lot of abuser apologia/ableism.

Be #maxyasgur:
MAX YASGUR Max Yasgur was forty-nine years old in 1969 and had lived near the town of Bethel for most of his life. His dairy business supplied milk to many of the local residents, and the festival grounds included fields that had only recently held much of his dairy herd. A staunch conservative and astute businessman, Yasgur had little in common with the four promoters, but he strongly supported their right to hold the festival. "Look, the reason you don't want them here is because you don't like what they look like. And I don't particularly like what they look like either. But that's not the point. They may be protesting the war, but thousands of American soldiers have died so they can do exactly what they're doing. That's what the essence of the country is all about." MAX YASGUR
