What captivated me the most was Elaine May’s performance. She was intrinsically acting the shit out of her role. I left the theatre understanding how important it was for me to witness actors who aren’t known to me. Actors who may not have fame attached to their practice as an artist. 2/3

I'm more a fan of May's original design, but I'm biased as I grew up with that version of her in the anime.
The ORAS redesign is still cute, but it isn't as sporty, and I think the sporty look makes sense for a trainer that doesn't know where exactly she's gonna find herself on her Pokemon journey.

The Green Goblin from Spider-Man terrified the fuck out of me as a little kid. I thought he was so scary and I eventually had to be carried out crying from the theater after the scene where he breaks into Aunt May's house. I never saw the ending of the movie for years due to this guy lol

may's post is worded weirdly. My best interpretation is that she used the word "transition" to mean "be trans", and she used the word "change" to mean "transitioning", but her meaning seems pretty clear imo.
