#McSweeney,#LIED
This is HUGE.

Morgan McSweeney and Shabana Mahmoud, now the Home Secretary, have LIED about donations to Labour Together…

Both have to go. They are responsible for this mess.

If Morgan McSweeney goes it won't be to protect Keir Starmer (Starmer is a dead man walking anyway). It will be to protect the political faction that wrecked, smeared, lied & purged its way to the top of the party, & which McSweeney was/is an integral part of.
February 3, 2026 at 9:47 AM
@brianleishmanmp.bsky.social is right, this goes much further than Starmer

He was chosen as a figurehead by the faction that wrecked smeared & lied to regain control of the party &then purged to cement that control. Mandelson, McSweeney, Streeting, Reed etc were all central to that project
February 6, 2026 at 7:22 AM
In essence Morgan McSweeney LIED about not declaring payments to Labour Together in order to to keep his plotting against Jeremy Corbyn (and to ensure Boris Johnson won the 2019 General Election, and imposed a hard #Brexit) a secret.
This is HUGE.

Morgan McSweeney and Shabana Mahmoud, now the Home Secretary, have LIED about donations to Labour Together…

EXPOSED: The Scandal That Could Bring Down Keir Starmer's Government
September 24, 2025 at 9:51 PM
A superb cartoon by @martinrowson.bsky.social on Morgan McSweeney; the Chief of Staff taking the blame for appointing #PeterMandelson as #US Amabassador. #Mandelson lied about his ongoing friendship with #Epstein. #McSweeney resigned. PM #KeirStarmer is still under attack. He too should go. #UK
February 10, 2026 at 12:00 PM
McSweeney says "later revelations from the Epstein files" shows that the "nature of the relationship [Mandelson] had" with Epstein "shows he was unfit for the job."

Quite a bit was known about Mandelson's relationship with Epstein before his appointment. But McSweeney says he was lied to...

I've not commented on the Starmer/Mandelson/Robbins affair though It does seem that my initial belief was broadly right. Starmer has not lied (he misled inadvertently), he was lied to, Morgan McSweeney (a Mandelson protege) is probably the real villain (I'd not considered this) ... 1/3

Get this prat gone. He’s lied to the electorate on the slogan of “change” and they’ve just offered more of the same Tory chaos. Get him gone.

I’m surprised him and McSweeney have any allies still, considering they have messed it up so badly.

Voted Labour my whole life. Never again. Cheers Keir.
Downing Street has launched an extraordinary operation to protect Keir Starmer amid fears among the prime minister’s closest allies that he is vulnerable to a leadership challenge in the wake of the budget

Starmer allies say ousting PM would be ‘reckless’ as fears grow over leadership challenge
Exclusive: No 10 said to be in ‘full bunker mode’ over fears of challenge after this month’s budget or May local elections

I voted Labour and within 6 months I regretted it.

They've broken our trust. Ruined my hope in politics. I dislike Labour now more than the awful Tories. Because they gave me hope. They lied. McSweeney and Starmer lied and they continue to lie and will lose in '29.

Karl Turner, a Labour MP who was suspended from the party after claiming that Sir Keir Starmer's former aide Morgan McSweeney lied about his phone being stolen, has publicly accused Downing Street of trying to smear him by questioning his mental health 👇
April 5, 2026 at 12:40 PM
Tutored by McSweeney, Mandelson, & Labour "Together", Starmer purposely lied in order to become party leader... then purposely lied in order to become PM.

He's broken all 10 campaign pledges.

He is EXACTLY the same as he was back then.

His lying about Greens' policy is just one proof of that.
March 3, 2026 at 11:27 AM
Grauniad keeps describing Keir Starmer as “a decent man”. AFAICT, decent = “Oxford law grad who looks good into a suit”. Lied his way into Labour leadersip, ruthlessly purged enemies, allied with McSweeney & Mandelson, crawled to Trump, tried & failed to block Burnham Have I missed something? #ukpol

It’s understood the documents the Met wants withheld include evidence Starmer is relying on to show Mandelson "lied to" the Government, including his responses to Morgan McSweeney about his links to Epstein
February 5, 2026 at 1:08 PM
Come on now, it's absurd for the left to claim they were lied to.
Morgan McSweeney's ‘plot without precedent in Labour history’
A new book chronicles how Labour strategist Morgan McSweeney used ‘any means necessary’ to destroy Corbyn as leader and install Starmer.

It's not even a debate that McSweeney stole funds and lied about their use. Dan seems to think taking almost a million pound worth of funds, lying about it, and using it to undermine a democratically leader in a secret deal with the MSM it's totally sound and incorrupt politics.
February 3, 2026 at 8:16 AM
Came close in 2017, i agree 2019 election was a disaster but Starmer lied to become leader by saying he keep Corbyn policies, and the reason Starmer won in 2024 because the Voters had enough of 14 years of Tory mishaps, not because of Starmer and McSweeney
February 8, 2026 at 4:47 PM
Yes, just listened in full. He seems to be fine unless Robbins drops a bombshell tomorrow. He may say that McSweeney ordered him to pass Mandelson, which brings it closer to Starmer, but not proof he lied to the house. He didn't and he wouldn't.
April 20, 2026 at 4:35 PM
Morgan McSweeney being the actual prime minister. Starmer just does as he's told.

Media knew all along Corbyn was sabotaged from within the Labour Party and Starmer lied his way to leadership. They could have reported it. They joined in instead.

I couldn't believe it when twice sacked Mandelson was appointed ambassador. I said then it was a BIG mistake. Starmer was advised to appoint Mandelson and, despite being lied to by Mandelson, it is McSweeney who must go. Starmer may have been naive, but that is not a resigning offence.
February 4, 2026 at 6:37 PM
The Greens could do the funniest thing, incorporate Starmer's 10 pledges from his fraudulent leadership campaign.

And seriously just read them, he lied completely. All a scam by McSweeney (read The Fraud)

"Get In" is a book about Morgan Mcsweeney, Starmer's chief strategist, written with his blessing, and if you think he lied to Maguire in the interviews he gave for it, that is actually somehow worse for your argument than if every word is true.

www.theguardian.com/books/2025/f...
Get In by Patrick Maguire and Gabriel Pogrund review – behind the scenes with Morgan McSweeney, Labour’s arch strategist
This is a rattlingly good tale of a modern-day Machiavelli that ascribes credit for Labour’s journey to power not to Keir Starmer, but to his Irish chief of staff

"I never authorised attacks on my ministerial colleagues" feels like a fertile quote for a scandal because they've absolutely come from McSweeney, so Starmer either lied to the house or his own advisor is briefing against ministers either behind the PMs back or with his tacit but not overt consent.
November 12, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Clear now that Starmer had been told to wait until a candidate passed vetting before announcing they are filling post.
He has lied.
We also know that Starmer and McSweeney pushed through other political appointments, however unsuitable, despite reasonable objections.
Sam Coates reports "We've got some breaking news"

It turns out that the head of the civil service told Starmer he should get all the security vetting done before he announced who'd be the new ambassador

"Clearly Starmer chose not to do that, [he] chose to ignore formal advice"
April 20, 2026 at 11:14 AM
Thanks.
M McSweeney lied to HoC about Labour Together donations. I wonder why he isn't in jail...
November 22, 2025 at 11:10 AM
He's in trouble because he appointed Peter Mandelson to be ambassador to the US but it then transpired that Mandelson had supposedly lied about when he ended his association with Epstein. This has subsequently been blamed on Morgan McSweeney, Starmer's closest adviser, who has now resigned.
