I'm going to snip from something different for September. This was written decades ago (yes, you read that right) and put away in a drawer and forgotten about until recently. It might well end up back in the drawer, metaphorically speaking.
Lydiatt had long since got up, washed, dressed and stomped around the submarine to find a MechTech to tell it to go and cook him a full breakfast. He’d waited in the Lost Temple for over an hour for his meal to arrive and had finally given up and gone to find the MechTech again to find out what had happened. It was in the galley that he found that the MechTech had indeed cooked a full breakfast. Nothing was undercooked or burnt. All the right things were there, and in the right order. It was served on a clean plate which had been placed on a tray with a knife, fork, serviette, rack of toast and pot of orange marmalade with a serving spoon and pat of butter. There was a pot of tea, a teacup, a jug of milk and a bowl of sugar lumps, tongs and a spoon to stir with. The only problem was that it was all stone cold, except for the pot of tea, which was now tepid. Lydiatt ran the conversation he’d had with the MechTech through his mind again to see where he’d gone wrong. He had told the MechTech to cook him a full breakfast, which it had done to perfection, as he could see. He had told the MechTech to put it on a tray, which it had also done, and told it that he would be in the roof garden of the Temple. Ah. There it was: the flaw, the fatal breakdown in communication. He would be in the roof garden, but he hadn’t asked for the food to be brought to him there.

Was lucky enough to get the battle-damaged version of Studio Series #Megatron, and as per usual, I had a run of fun playing with possible fan modes and poses. Need to think of some kind of flying mode, though.

The previously posted "standing fusion cannon", based on the first Bay movie's Megatron. Taking it a step further with a (really loose) gun mode. Used additional accessories, including other fusion cannons from previous toys for the scope, etc. One-upping Tarn with a triple fusion cannon setup. From top to bottom, that's Titans Return Megatron's cannon, which serves as the main attachment, then the Mechtech cannon from DOTM Voyager Optimus, and finally, his own fusion cannon with the extended barrel (otherwise, it barely lines up with the other cannons from where it mounts on the Mechtech cannon).

Removing a pilot from a wrecked mech is always a dangerous process for everyone involved.

It's inevitable, of course. Mechs get wrecked, that's just what happens. Even the best pilot takes a little dirt nap every now and then.

Optimus Primes' robot mode looks all wrong! He is somehow, simultaneously too skinny, too thick, too long, too short, too wide, and too narrow! But he poses like a maniac and is dynamic as fuck! I love this thing!

This is an interesting direction to take the movie Optimus Prime toy for the 2011 Dark Of The Moon toy line. No reason solar panels and a giant gun. The trailer sadly doesn't work for him, but it looks okay, for a big empty box.

Review 1213 TRANSFORMERS CYBERWORLD CHOP SHOP & AIRACHNID I love this, admittedly, very flawed toys. Once again we got a set of retools that are physically distinct from eachother and both fun in their own right. But again thkse basic transformations and bare minimum articulation leaves a lot to be desired. Just give them elbows PLEASE! These two do have a bit more going for them though with the big ass mechtech style claw gun weapons, and some modular parts on the bots themselves, like chop shops mandibles and airachnids legs, clunky pieces on 5mm im sure you can do some cool stuff with! Ultimately... its cyberworld. Not the greatest things in the world, but fun enough for a casual pickup if they make something that stands out to ya, or if you find em on clearance. I will say they got some cool stuff coming out soon I love the look of so... yeah they still got me lol!
