The Catholic Church should not be allowed to acquire private hospitals and impose their rules, and should be forced to divest all such hospitals. If a hospital accepts government funding (Medicare, Mecicaid) they should not be allowed to impose their religous beliefs.

Yeah, they are estimating a minimum of 50,000 people per year will die unnecessarily if the "big beautiful bill" passes. And that is not counting the climate change aspect or the elimination of nutrition assistance for children - just getting rid of Mecicaid.
