The main objective of MedSea4Fish is to work with member countries to address national and regional fishery priorities in the journey towards a sustainable future. MedSea4Fish directly contributes to the GFCM fisheries advisory process. It supports countries to increase national capacities in collecting relevant data and producing quality information towards the formulation of scientific advice for sustainable fisheries management. During the first biennium (2023-2024), approximately USD 9.4 million were invested to support 26 different types of actions across 17 countries.
