The crazy thing about #Knitting a shawl as big as #MedievalRose is that those 4 rows I did (2304 stitches) only adds 3 cm to the total diameter (1.5 all the way around). It’s like knitting into a black hole. Thankfully, the pattern starts changing in about 6 rows so that will be interesting. 🧶

Got the lifeline in, started knitting, got almost half way around, and used the lifeline. 🤬 now I’m reloading the stitches and then knitting them one 36 stitch repeat at a time. #MedievalRose has a new nickname #CuntyCathedral. #Knitting #Cursing

OMG you’re right!! I knew it was becoming a giant flower but have been puzzling over what to call it. The colors remind me of a copper patina, metals, and wood. So an ancient church window fits perfectly! She’s now officially #MedievalRose Thank you!!
