i recommend this book to so many people lol it's the book that made me realize i -was- actually doing things and meditating correctly. the way you kinda broke it down really helped me make sense of my experience!

Who do you think taught me these things? Believe it or not, it’s very calming. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more at peace than when I’m out there on the water or meditating. …weed and alcohol are also nice, though. Anyways, I’ll pick you up on the bike. Big will probably be on the water too.

Meditation doesn't work for me cause of the aphantasia. I can "feel" scenes when reading and listening to stories, but it requires active effort, which kind of ruins the whole point of meditating.
