Donoso achieved an artwork that goes beyond traditional and even experimental forms…It's a laying bare through masks and disguise...hinted at through images seen sideways...an...affirmation of existence.
-Megan McDowell

Still 300 pages to go, it's time to commit to finishing this. I'm enjoying it, but need to overcome the overwhelm at its length.

I'm reading #MarianaEnriquez's interesting essays at the same time, 'Somebody Is Walking On Your Grave: My Cemetry Journeys' translated from Spanish by #MeganMcDowell. 🪦

Ooh, these stories are spooky and spiky! #MarianaEnriquez slaps you in the face, punches you in the gut and makes you want to leave the light on at night. Superb! Also: expertly translated from the Spanish by #MeganMcDowell
