i learned what an IP address and proxy server were in middle school when i was trying to watch dragon ball z on megaupload and every 3 or so episodes it told me i had to wait 3 hours because i maxxed out my free bandwidth. i would only later learn why i shouldn't use free proxy servers but whatever

Siempre le atribuyo esta cita a @noelceballos.bsky.social y ya ni sé si lo dijo él, era algo como "pensábamos que el streaming iba a ser una biblioteca de Alejandría del cine con acceso a todas las películas, pero en realidad consiste en tener Bebé Jefazo en 7 plataformas distintas"
Es una pena que, incluso teniendo todos los streamings posibles, las pelis que más me interesen este año solo estén disponibles vía 🏴☠️.

a.) i was a kid
b.) a lot of the times it'd be a wall of bicentennial man tapes and a few checked out copies of something good
c.) the real golden age was early torrenting and megaupload, where the whole medium film was streamable for free with a google search
