I Spit on Your Grave ne sera peut-être jamais une grande œuvre de cinéma. Mais cela ne l’empêche pas d’être un film important.

In closing, did #MeirZarchi want to prove he’s a “talented” filmmaker with his (in my opinion “overly ambitious”) film #ISpitOnYourGraveDejaVu? If so, he failed. If anything, it makes him seem LESS talented in 2019 than he was in 1978. It sounds like #StephenKing is in a similar predicament. Ⓐ

Honest question: during the decades before the making of #ISpitOnYourGraveDejaVu - did #MeirZarchi turn into a smug urban liberal who looks down on rural Americans? Because his earlier film #ISpitOnYourGrave featured PLAUSIBLE/BELIEVABLE rural characters. Albeit, ones who are sex criminals. Ⓐ
