#Melatonin,Serotonin&Cortisol
Mit uns machen:
Dopamin, Serotonin, Endorphin, Phenethylamin, Oxytocin, Adrenalin, Östrogene, Gestagene, Testosteron, Cortisol, Melatonin, …

One must balance the 4 humors: serotonin, melatonin, dopamine and cortisol

I use magnesium glycinate at bedtime and it works wonders for me. I also try to naturally regulate my melatonin, cortisol and serotonin levels to help me sleep and wake up in a good mood.

Do you actually wanna know or just playing, because as one with the tizzy I'm inclined to explain it's because of the relationship between melatonin/serotonin/cortisol

Omg yes weighted blankets are a game changer. They work through something called deep pressure stimulation which is the same concept as having a service dog lay on you. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, increases serotonin and dopamine, reduces cortisol, increases melatonin etc

@sciam.bsky.social “In addition to vitamin D, the skin produces melatonin, serotonin, endorphins, endocannabinoids, cortisol, oxytocin, leptin, nitric oxide, cis-urocanic acid, itaconate, lumisterol, tachysterol, and a dozen other vitamin D–like compounds that don’t even have names yet.”

Day 2 of The Balance: the science of the quickening.

As day length increases, the pineal gland shifts melatonin production earlier. Serotonin rises. Cortisol recalibrates. These are measurable biological shifts driven by the changing angle of sunlight.
