Finished this guy recently and im very proud of how it turned out. Limited pallette challenge using only a single set of John Blanche Army Painter (plus 1 other JB paint for mixing). I love #votann40k models and Memnyr Strategists were one that made me start the faction #40k #warhammercommunity

Finally finished one of my unites of Ironkin Steeljacks, led by a memnyr strategist. I really like these guys, one of my favorite models.

Finished my Memnyr Strategist. Really cool model but a bit of a pain to paint.

I was really happy to paint these new Leagues of Votann models. Using some inspiration from deno_miniatures on Instagram, I wanted to bulk up the appearance of the Steeljacks, to make them a bit more rugged. I used a plethora of bits to achieve these silhouettes.

In honor of the #Votann appearing in #Warhammer Mechanicus II, let me repost my custom Votann Kindred's artwork with huge credit to the amazing work of @afelipeart.bsky.social! I've been super excited to learn what role the LoV play in the story, and am excited to dig in over the coming days!
A Votann Kahl aggressively pointing with a gauntlet fist as he roars with righteous fury. A Votann Ironkin stands behind a male flesh-and-blood Kin with a mechanical eye. An aged Votann Grimnyr considers something while stroking his beard in contemplation. A Votann Memnyr Strategist stands illuminated in the sunlight.

I think my favorite bit of made up lore from last night’s 40K game with @edsbs.bsky.social and @jasonkirk.fyi was deciding that the Memnyr Strategist is using at least part of his computing power to watch hentai during the battle

Me when I spread misinformation:

Memnyr Strategist and Ironkin Steeljacks. More Ironkin is very interesting...

'Men of Iron? You must be mistaken sir, these are merely my emotional support entourage. The Volkite Disintegrators are quite comforting.'
