#Monochrome photo of reflections of a gently flowing stream with sediment creating patterns on the surface and dried leaves, some partially submerged and some gathered at the edge. Trees in reflection appear smudged into abstraction as in a charcoal drawings.

Photo collage using #ClassicMono and color versions of a woodland image, blended using the tessellated geometry that I love. Using old-fashioned blending modes. Bending back to the paper collages I used to do a lifetime ago. Double click on it. #MessyNaturePhoto #dpart #EastCoastKin
Photographic view from within a woodland thicket taken with #Sony RX100m2. Color and #Monochrome versions are blended together as a tessellated mosaic.

Posting this again in a version that I’ve come to prefer, with the heavy vignette lifted a bit to be less stark, with energy gathering and releasing at the edges of light and dark. Trees at Central Park NYC. RX100m2. #MessyNaturePhoto #EastCoastKin #Monochrome
#ClassicMono #Duotone photo of trees with stylized contrast and heavy full circle vignette, appearing like some sort of energy mass or maybe a moon.

Image Stone : Community. Fishkill Creek, Beacon NY. #Nikon D850, Voigtlander 58mm 1,4. See Alt for thoughts. #MessyNaturePhoto #EastCoastKin #Monochrome
Overhead monochrome photo of mossy ground with grassy plant shoots that remind me of a neural network or random community. I’ve been playing with these hard organic vignettes not so much in the way of an antique photo but like a worn stone - an image stone, an object of thought.
