You might need a break. If so... the dawn redwood, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, is the only _living_ species in its genus. All the information about the extinct trees is why it and the other redwoods are at their species name instead of just the genus name.

i still have metasequoia on my laptop.. updating it and i had no idea they added realtime AO... what the hell. am i going to have to blow the dust off metaseq and see whats goin on

I made it my mission to learn the blender at least at the beginner level within a month. Metaseq is great but a LOT of things I need from game extraction could only be done in blender + I am planning to at least take on one 3D model commission this year so I want to be prepared 🥹

Put together a base model to make future projects go faster but now I'm thinking I really don't like how it looks LMAO. Practice is good though

i've never used industry standard stuff but i used metaseq for a good while and after that nothing in blender scares me. NOTHING.

Okay we're getting somewhere. I wanted to do the hair with just textures but I think I need to try with a simpler hairstyle first

I finally found my spare nibs for my tablet pen before I toss the pen through the window.... although it did try to take my eye with it when I got the old one out. 😬
I guess I'll have to find that later wherever it went.... but back to doing stuff. Might try installing metaseq or blender later...
