The DJI Mic2 is great, but it's an omni mic for a start so you're less able to control the capture, and they're really geared for sound-for-picture and broadcast. You're paying for noise cancellation & connectivity features you don't need or want for foley and sound design. :)

新機材としてDji MIC2を購入。
使用用途を検討した上で普段のトーク系モトブログ時には良音でお届け出来ると判断。
※32bit float収録で音割れは問題なし
ツーリング動画はMIC2のバッテリーの持ちが不安なので今まで通り外部マイクアダプターとピンマイク使用で撮影予定。
※駆動時間6時間
使用用途を検討した上で普段のトーク系モトブログ時には良音でお届け出来ると判断。

Super idea, great performance, excellent quality and parameters. However, if it is to be used as a standalone recorder, this is a major drawback. It is impossible to set the time for the files to be named correctly. #dji #djimic2 #disappointed

We replaced @spsheridan.bsky.social's traditional camcorder for doing trade show interviews with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 — a huge improvement in just about every measurable way. Thanks to @robbdunewood.com and Pat Dengler for encouraging us to go for it.

前買ったDJI mic2がいくつか不具合あるみたいでYouTubeで少し荒れてた。正直僕の使う範囲では関係なかったりするから、後悔みたいのは無い。元々このあたりのガジェットはプロ向きじゃない

Not a content creator but it's something i dabble with for pure interest in tech, from what I've seen the most utilized tend to be lav-like mics such as the DJI Mic2 which i believe also offer on-device recording, and i believe both Hollyland and Rode also have offers with the similar features.
