As someone who biked behind a guy who was clearly watching microdramas on the phone mounted to his handlebars this week, it’s not just a car problem, but the car makes the consequences of the problem way worse
I don’t think the giant infotainment screens in new cars are *good* but to be honest I think the actual problem is drivers just straight up looking at their phones while driving

My basic take on why Quibi didn’t succeed but microdramas have taken over the web is that everyone involved in making this knew it was dreadful, whereas the dreadful morality tales and weird quasi-pornography has a core of sincerity.
Sorry it just occurred to me that there may be people who haven’t seen clip from the Quibi show where Rachel Brosnahan plays a woman dying because of her golden prosthetic arm and I needed to fix that
