By just replacing X and Y axis pom wheels with linear rails and upgrading the hotend to microswiss flowtech made my neptune 4 plus a machine I needed. This is a first try print without any additional calibration. Moving print in place. In retrospective I should have bought a creality k1 though

The nozzle's fine, remarkably. Cleaned it out and it still works. Thank God for that detachable nozzle system from Microswiss there. But losing the plate's a big deal. Those aren't cheap. >_>

Very excited to see all my work getting chamber heating and ABS dialed in paying off with a print I'm pretty confident in at this point! Downside is that I'm printing a repair part for the printer itself. At least MicroSwiss just threw up the model www.printables.com/model/752962... #3dprinting

I don’t think there is a better deal for an abrasive resistant nozzle than the Microswiss CM2 Volcano. At $22.99 on Amazon, free Prime shipping, it’s a steal. Ordered a few and got them in 2 days!

My SV08 was starting to have poorer quality prints, so I got a Microswiss hotend along with a CHT nozzle. After doing a bunch of calibrations and adding print features I've been meaning to add for a while (like KAMP purge and smart park), it's print quality has significantly improved!

MicroSwiss' hotend magic powerd my old CR to some of its finest work, and those things where turds. The working element at the end of the flaying robot has a lot to do with the quality of your prints.
Invest.
You'll eventually pay it back on saved filament and/or time.
