I've found a set-up that would be £330 for two 465W panels and a decent 800W microinverter (panels don't include mounts, but microinverter does inc. 5m plug). Which would pay itself off pretty quickly. Just weighing up whether I can dela with the faff of installing mounts and where to run the cable

This is a problem if you want to plug in a source like a solar microinverter into any outlet, “plug and play”.
These circuits “daisy chain’”multiple outlets so you end up with load and generation on one circuit.
A “double fed” circuit is a legitimate safety issue.

Also the solar management company came and replaced a defective microinverter so my 26 panel rooftop solar farm is all fixed up finally :)

That doesn't mean all systems can do this, however. They do need to be *designed* for this usecase.
